Around the World with the Salvador

After the successful launch of the Rizal and Plaridel, Ibarra proudly launches a new watch called the Salvador, which is one of a kind timepiece that embodies sophistication and practicality. Salvador, named after the steam vessel that our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal boarded when he first travelled abroad in 1882, features a dial with inscribed names of cities. Ibarra represents the country in ASEAN50

During the ASEAN50 Special Celebration held in November 14th, Ibarra was chosen to make exclusive timepieces to commemorate the milestone. The Philippines held the chairmanship of the ASEAN under the administration of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. The ASEAN50 timepiece was a Plaridel Automatic watch, the same watch which the Philippine President wore during his trip to Russia in May.  The special timepieces were given as gifts to the ASEAN Heads of State and the guests during the culmination of a intensive week of talks and discussions. This milestone gave Ibarra the opportunity to represent the country by being the official gift to international leaders. This is indeed the time of the Filipino!
